Brandon Rice
VP, Software Engineering
Brandon is an engineering leader specializing in web technologies and distributed systems. His professional background includes software engineering, law enforcement, and public safety.
Brandon joined Optoro in 2012 as one of its first engineers, and contributed directly to many early systems. He now leads Optoro’s engineering and information security teams as they develop, deploy, operate, and secure a modern and mature Returns Management System.
Prior to joining Optoro, Brandon spent a decade working in public safety as a firefighter and criminal investigator. He holds a B.S. in Computer and Information Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
Outside of work, Brandon enjoys science fiction, gaming, and watching horror movies with his family.
